Mike Perez

Played in the National Football League, World League of American Football (the predecessor to NFL Europe) and the Arena Football League.
He threw for "18,875 yards and 341 touchdowns from 1994-1999."
Perez earned a bachelor's degree in sociology from San Jose State University, where he was an All-American quarterback.

Bio? well, I enjoy my work, I have a beautiful wife, a great little boy, and a daughter on the way (due February 2003). Not too bad for a Polish kid from the old neighborhood. (Its not such an old neighborhood anymore, there are "scrape-offs" everywhere) I still see some of my old friends from South and life has been pretty good to me. After attending South High in Denver, Colorado, my family moved to Waterloo, Iowa where I finished my highschool education.  I attended the University of Northern Iowa from 1982-1987 and received my BA in Social Work.  After a few years in the real world, and moving to Chicago then back to Des Moines, Iowa I returned to UNI to receive a BA in Art.  I then attended Graduate School at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst receiving my MFA in Painting in 1996.  Since then I have been moving around the U.S. and trying to establish a life, which I have now found in Minneapolis.  I am a working artist, also raising my 16 month old son, Owen.
